I know when my husband was diagnosed as having an intolerance to wheat and gluten, it was the most difficlult time of his life, but it has been just as hard on my family, too, because have mostly gluten free products in the house now. My kids are tired of my gluten-free cooking, but I don't really miss the gluten anymore. Anyone out there living free of wheat and have any great suggestions? I have written quite a few articles on other sites (see my profile page for my blog site), but I am always looking for new ideas on how to keep things interesting without wheat! The big problem, of course is pizza, but I do have a recipe for gluten-free crust. It just isn't the same, but it satisfies. If anyone out there has a great new recipe for that I would love it. Thanks!

Hi, I can't picture myself living without gluten, because I just love to eat everything. But I think it's really nice of you and your family to give up gluten all together that must be really helpful to your husband. I have a friend at work that is gluten intolerant and everything I offer her to eat she says no because can't eat it. I would not want to be in her skin, have you tried doing searches online for recipes with no gluten? I'm sure you'll find plenty.

You guys have made a hard sacrifice! Although since it is is your husband, you probably don't feel it is too much of one. But kids being kids would miss the regular food, I'm sure. I know I would! I can't afford to shop at a health food store all the time, but when I do, I buy gluten free products. I know it is healthier. My doctor actually told me it might make me feel better. I don't have any recipes, but I will keep my eye out for some. I really will, and I'll post them if I find some.
