Minimum wage

Why would enyone want to raise minimum wage? That is for high school kids to make extra money. If an adult with a family is making minimum wage he or she needs to work a little harder at finding a better job. Raising the minimum wage is going to hurt small businesses and cause the higher paid people like managers to take a pay cut to afford to pay the people working for them.

I really wouldn't mind at all if the raised the minimum wage because I mean, everybody loves to paid just as much as the next person. But it probably would cause pay cuts and possibly cause small businesses to go out of business because the owners would have to pay their employees more. But I would really appreciate it because I work at McDonalds not far above minimum wage.
