is lupus liveable?

hi mylotters i want to ask some opinions from you about lupus illness if its liveable. My friends is a lupus patient and she keeps on asking me and my colleagues at work if theres a chance for her to live longer. She used to research about it but some sources always give negative feedbacks about lupus coz accordingly this kind of desease is like having cancer , theres no cure despite of having continues medications. actually she's losing her hopes but she only felt better when we comfort her taking her out to a place where she can relax. we pitty her specially when she feels bad , she just cried and ask god Y she has that king of illness. i want to seek your opinion ,what can u help out of this problem with my friend ,other medicine that u know which is newly discover please let us know thru mylot. thank u
