do you think life in other galaxies is a possibility?

scientists claim that given an ideal setting, the spark of life (as this is how scientists theorize the beginning of life) can be duplicated.
they say that given a certain atmosphere, and given certain compounds, amino acids (the building blocks of life) can be formed. they then claim that life is very possibly existing right now in another galaxy.
others argue, from a religious point of view, that life exists only in this planet.
there are many other points of view regarding the possibility of alien life. what's yours?

i totally agree with the scientist that there is a different kind of life beyond. just imagine if we are the only living creature in the universe, ain't it lonely? and given the theory how life evolved with the combination of atoms and particles , it is very possible that there are other beings in the universe and it is possible for us to create life in other worlds apart from us.

yes, it seems it will make sense that there will be other lives out there. perhaps microbial in nature, or maybe more complex. who knows, right?
but it would indeed be sad if the circumstances were right only once, only at the time life here on earth started. yep, sad.
