Do you often butt in into other mylotter's conversations?

Well there are pages where some mylotters, already your friend or not, have been exchanging responses and then you feel like you too wanna have a say in it. Do you feel comfortable butting in? Or do you just ignore it and proceed to respond in other posts?

No I don't butt in - I barge in hook, line and sinker several times on most days when I'm here I don't do it on purpose honestly, it just sort of happens. It could be that I see a topic with a really serious exchange taking place and I add my bit to lighten it. This usually happens when I know the users involved as they know me and others less familiar might not appreciate it - though it did happen earlier with a brand new user My feeling is that it's fun here. I know there are certain interests which need much knowledge and information on the subject they are talking about and I rarely get involved with those (politics and religion for example) as, if I wanted to, I could discuss them offline. So I tend to stick to the more fun topics and it's easier to butt in there without getting misunderstood. Well it's not happened yet though there's always a first time - hopefully not!

*eye-ing you head to foot* LOL I think as long as you practice courtesy, respect and proper decorum, you 'd barely get into trouble. Wow, you have reached 4,ooo! You're an ICON!

If I know either one of the two people chatting with each other then I'll have no issues with jumping in myself. Sometimes though, I just can't help myself and will jump into conversations between people I don't know at all as well, but this is rare to be honest! Personally I see no issues in getting involved like this if what we have to say is relevant. Anyways, it's a good way to make new friends! Nothing ventured, nothing gained I reckon!

Yes,and at least in mylot, you can butt in and nobody eyes you head to foot like in real life. I can't imagine myself butting in in real people's conversations especially if I don't know them.

I certainly hope no-one eyes me from head to foot on here cos usually I don't get dressed up to be here. Indeed sometimes I'm still in my pyjamas

Of course, at first I have to make and post my own response about the topic or discussion. Then, If I found out that I have something in mind which is connected to other respondents', then that's the only time I butt in. But, I do not butt in to disapprove with others opinion. I butt in only for clarification and it happens that I have a stand to it.

i find it happens . few discussions which i started had good responses and in between few of the comments attracted comments from some others. at times i find it funny but then i also started and have in one or two occasions added my comments to someones comment where i either wished to second the opinion or differed with it . well this adds some fun to the discussion!!

No I haven't tried butting in in someone else discussions, I'm not into arguing with people, most of the time if I don't agree with their opinions then I just respect it and let it be, for one thing it's their life and I know we have our differences and characters and such. I only respond to a post or discussions and when I received a reply to it then I reply back if i've got something better to say, I don't usually mingle in others responses, well that's me and I'm more comfortable with it...^-^

People here love to exchange and I love it. I posted something political and you saw it happen a lot. As for me... of course I try to add something if I can. If they were talking just to each other then they can use the message feature right?

Yes, maybe if their topic is quite interesting and I can relate much to it however as much as possible won't butt in, will just do my response to the said topic, although that's one thing nice with mylot anyone can give comments to another even not yet her friend.

if i have something to say with their conversation, why not? especially when there is something wrong about their discussion and you want to correct it. i usually do that but not so often. every conversation in mylot is open so i would mind that. i would be glad if someone do that but of course with respect.

Yes, I agree. As long as you maintain simple courtesy and respect. And when some people butt in into my own conversations, I even welcome that. At least I caught somebody's attention, right? *wink*
