I enjoy reading so many different genres, all under fiction, that it's hard to say just what I do not like. I do enjoy books that are westerns, romances, inspirational, mysteries, there are so many different choices of genres.... I do enjoy non fiction biographies as I find them amusing to some extent, although I'd have to say I've only read and enjoyed one biography, an autobiography that.

Hi Some Cowgirl. I never said this but you are one of my oldest friends here (from the favorite friends that is) but anyway to get on topic. I like quite a few genres of books myself, and i got along best with the funny style of Sophie Kinsella (funny adventures with romantic tendencies). I also like sci-fi books based on my favorite games or movies, but i don't get to read those to often as they don't come in cheap.

I believe you've told me about Sophie Kinsella before, and I have a question for you. Her book, shopaholic and baby, is that the sequel book to her Shopaholic book? I don't remember if we've talked about that. Sci Fi can be okay, but i'm not a big fan of it. I guess you could say though, that I am a fan of Star Wars, but whether that falls in with sci fi, I don't know. lol. Oh and thank you, I did not know that I was your oldest friend here.

You are my oldest dear friend - that is the oldest friend that actually bothers to treat me like a friend - i have some other older friend that are not active anymore :) Anyway about Sophie Kinsella's books: there are 5 books in the Shopaholic. The order is like this: Shopaholic. Shopaholic Takes Manhattan Shopaholic Ties the Knot Shopaholic with Sister Shopaholic with baby

Horror and Thriller are okay but I do like suspense novels, as long as they don't have too much of the horror and thriller stuff. Don't get me wrong, I watch these type of things, but not so much anymore. Harry Potter I think I've read snippets of, and Twilight I've heard about, it hasn't been out for long has it? I appreciate the response.

I read anything and everything. It's the learning that it's important to me. BUT, every once awhile I get a longing for a good mystery. Guess it's the natural problem solver in me........

I am totally hooked on paranormal romance books... and I love historical romance books, I can read books that are contemporary, but I get more out of the paranormal ones and the historical ones. There are several authors that I love in both genre.

paranormal romance books, it sounds odd but I assume it's books about romance that you wouldn't think possible, species to species possibly? Historical romance is very very... lovely, lol.

LOL, they are actually very good and very addicting once you start them... but they are not the only books I read, since I still love my historicals...kathleen woodiwiss, julie ann long, johana lynsay... etc....LOL happy mylotting!!

I love all kinds of fiction. I don't think there is anything that I don't like..well horror. I can't read anything that is scary because I have too vivid of an imagination and it makes me imagine the scary stuff when I try to sleep.

I started reading romance novels like Mills & Boon, some Barbara Cartland. I also read a few Nancy Drew Mysteries. Then I got myself a copy of Stephen King's It and read more of his works. I have never really tried reading non-fiction...

Hey someCowgirl! I love to read! My favorite kinds of books are usually mysteries! I love a good mystery novel! I like romance novels too! Sometimes if I find a good autobiography about someone that I am interested in I will read that too. I have even been known to sit down and read a historical novel every now and then. But, most of the time I like to read the lighter type books so I tend to stick to murder mysteries! lol

You have a variety of fiction interests then, well save for the historical books. I enjoy a good historical romance, or just a little piece of history as long as it's written well. Mysteries are so fun to read and they leave you with so many different thoughts! I appreciate the response.

I am not a big fan of non fiction, but I admire people who read non fiction. Horror Novels are great, but I don't know so much about the gore of it. Lol, well I like a few fantasy type novels but then again am not a big fan of that either. The Saga of the Runelords sounds very exciting.

Well, I have a degree in psychology, so, obviously I love psychology books and self-help books. Other than that, I like historic and action books. Whenever I am stressed or have been working long hours I prefer chick lit, nothing like it to relax :)
