I have never been to Spain but from word of mouth, I can imagine why your country is one of the most preferred tourist destination. I have heard that it has a very rich cultural background. The people are extremely nice and decent and they value taste to anything else. :-)

Hola ,yes i have lived in spain. Mijas Costa on the costa del sol in a little fishing village called la-cala & loved it, i moved their with my mum & brother we lived in the spanish part rather than where the english & the rest of europe in one street. We was surrounded with the locals & we never wanted it any other way, they took us under there wing & they called us there ingles familia & took us on picnics into the campo, they couldnt speak aword of engish so they tought us spanish we had to learn it otherwise we couldnt communicate which is the best way to learn a langage in spain or any where else in the world. LOVED TIME I WAS THEIR.

Hola Croquetilla! I am english but have lived in Spain for almost seven years so you can assume that I like it here. The climate (apart from the recent rain), the people, the lifestyle is a change but a really nice one at that. All of my neighbours in our little village are Spanish and are the most welcoming kind people who are willing to help out if you need to simply because we are neighbours. Whenever we go out to eat we always go to Spanish bars and restuarants, but the one thing I like most is the way that children here do not seem to grow up so quickly, they are allowed to be children and playing in the street is still safe. I think my kids are a lot more relaxed than they would be if we were still living in the UK, that is probably because I am more relaxed out here too.
