Heard an amazing things regarding money--picture this....

If you have trouble picturing how much a million, a billion and a trillion are think of it as how long it will take you to spend it.
If you spend a dollar a second, it will take you 11 days to spend a million.
If you spend a dollar a second it will take you 32 days to spend a billion.
If you spend a dollar a second it will take you 32,000 days to spend a trillion. That's 87.67 years!

Interesting discussion spending a trillion would take 87.67 years, do you think that it is not possible for a man to spend money always he have to do other works like sleeping, daily works etc.etc so half of time will go doing this then it will more time to spend i mean 175.34 years to spend is not it funny

I could take that trillion and make a big dent in it in just a couple of years. Of course, that would be for public works because I could never, ever spend that much myself! If I had that money, there would be very little poverty in this world by the time ten years went by and very few children going to bed hungry.

Sums of money like that are so far from my realm of possibility that the thought of being able to spend them myself is almost obscene!
I genuinely don't think I'd enjoy being really, really wealthy. Being comfortable, and not having to worry about money, would be more than enough for me.

I agree with you, I would like to be comfortable. I don't know what in the world I would spend millions or even trillions on if I had to spend it on myself!

I don't think I could every spend a billion or a trillion but I would certainly love to have a chance to try! Oh, the things I could do...charitable foundations that supported themselves, pay off my house, help my neighbors, make my neighborhood more beautiful, make another self-supporting foundation to pay workers to fix my city's streets and keep them nice, banish my small city's poverty and homelessness. And it would still take more than my lifetime to spend that much!

I like that dragon54u because it really puts it into perspective for most people. It helps them wrap their heads around such an enormous amount of money. You come at it using a very different angle. Very clever of you!

I don't have any trouble at all picturing those money. The only trouble is picturing how the heck I can make that much money. Maybe it's 87.67 years too. lol
