Valentine's Day Ideas

Ok. So Valentine's Day is quickly approaching. The question comes up...who do I get for my boyfriend/girlfriend/fiance/husband/wife, right? And in today's economy, many of us aren't able to go all out, financially. First of all, I'm a huge advocate of showing your love every single day of the year. Just because we have this Hallmark "holiday" doesn't mean that we're exempt from showing our love, appreciation and respect during the other 364 days of the year. With that being said, many people, including me, do have fun on Valentine's Day. But what do you do if your funds are limited, like so many of us are experiencing? Well, how about baking heart shaped cookies? You could then put them into a heart-shaped tin and tie a big red bow around it. How about a home made card. Or cook that special person in your life his or her favorite meal? I have to say that cooking for your man is always appreciated by him! :-) My fiance absolutely loves it (and appreciates it) when I cook for him! How about printing out coupons for him or her? They could be a coupon for a massage or 1 kiss or doing something that person loves to do...but together, as a couple. There are so many ways to show a person you love them without having to spend a lot of money on them. It's the little things and the thought that count the most. :-)

How about A Day of Hearts Picnic with loved ones? Hmmm heart-shaped ham & cheese sandwiches sound cheesy yet yummy! :) Have a Happy Valentine's Day!
