These and thousands of other treasures from Forrest J. Ackerman's collection will be sold the last week in April. I so want the first edition of Dracula. Gods i wish i had money...i pay some hardcore money for that...but since i dont i just sit hear and weep over it...SIGNED...i think i am going to go curl up and cry. I think its odd that as big a fan of vampires as i am...i do not own a copy of Bram Strokers Dracula.

Its been about nine years ago that i read it, and its the book that started it all for me. This guy i was seeing at the time lent me his copy and i feel in love. I tried to pick it up awhile back to read it but i had so much going on at the time i didnt get around to it.

would you try it on or are you the type that would store it and not let people touch it? i saw this thing on people that had princess dianas dresses and like refused to let people touch them because they wanted it to keep her dna on it or something

It would to be to hard to resist, not to try it on. Though I would display it in my home, so it would not just be stored away in a box somewhere. Something like that would have to be on display to get some enjoyment from it.

Wow that's nuts but pretty cool. I personally wouldn't buy it because that's just not something i would collect. But there are alot of people out there that would probably pay big bucks for that cape. I mean there is alot of movies that people idolize that would make that cape valuable to someone.

For some reason, I thought Bela Lugosi was buried in that cape. I guess I was wrong. His cape and ring are priceless- these are items of classic, legendary horror. I'm surprised they're not on display somewhere. I guess if money wasn't an object, I would definitely bid on Bela's cape and ring!
