What would you engrave on something for your partner?

I'm getting my husband an ipod for valentines day. They have free engraving. so I want to engrave something sweet on the back for him. He is a pretty simple guy so I don't want to be too hard for him to "get" or too mushy that the guys at work might make fun of him lol. I can put two lines, 29 characters each line, counting spaces. So what would you put? We were engaged on valentines day too. Thanks!

I guess it's pointless for me to respond, since you already have my ideas, lol. But I really like my song lyrics idea! Or the engagement date. Can't think of anything else really other than something simple like your names and I Love You.

I like the engagement date idea too! I don't think the lyric idea is corny, i'm just worried someone will i guess.

I think no matter what you put on there, someone would think it was a little corny, but who cares. It's not for them, it's for him, and all that matters is what he thinks. And like you said, you can always get him a sleeve for it.

I guess maybe if you have a saying you use that is personal to you that might be good! Myself and my hubby were married last year on Valentines day so this is our 1st anniversary! x

That is so cool that they do free engraving. I have never purchased anything for my husband that had engraving on it. That would be interesting to see what you come up with. I would put something romatic of course but I have no idea what that would be. what did you put on it??

I dont plan on engraving something for my boyfriend. It seems a little odd tome. I think the only thing that I would engrave for him would be our wedding bands whenever we get married. Other than that not sure if we would engrave things for each other.

We don't have secret nicknames we just call each other sweetie. i was thinking maybe a lyric from our song but i'm worried he won't get it or it would be too corny
