Hello, well normally when I first get to bed I watch television then I turn it off so after it is off I think maybe 10 minutes to fall asleep.

I have been having trouble falling asleep and staying asleep. If I don't fall asleep fast enough, I will have to get up and go to the bathroom. Several nights this week, I woke up every hour to hour and a half. Last night, I took NyQuil and slept for almost 5 hours! I still woke up tired though.

Hi rubypatson Congratulations. It is a gift that you can sleep immediately after going to bed. I am also gifted to sleep immediately when I go to bed. There may be one or two days in a year, when I have suffered without getting sleep. Not only immediately I go to sleep,I also start snoring. So immediate sleep is sign of my good health. But snoring is symptom of a disease. My wife feels jealousy of me as she can not sleep immediately. Moreover she used to blame my snoring for her sleepless night. Happy mylotting

It really depends on how tired I am. Most of the time, I fall asleep while watching TV. There are times that no matter how tired I am, I just toss and turn and watch more TV. My average sleep a day is about 6 - 7 hours. I want more but having a toddler makes that quite impossible. So on weekends, I usually sleep when she takes her nap just so I can get some shut eye.LOL!

Before I sleep I always have to read, so I'm usually in bed for a bit, but when I'm done reading it takes sometimes up to 2 hours to sleep. Some nights I feel so comfortable in bed, and other nights I don't. My bed has to be kind of cold for me, in order for me to fall asleep fast.

well, before i go to sleep i must toss and turn for a long time. i don't know exactly why i'm doing that. but, when i feel i can't sleep soon, i put my pillow over my head to cover my eyes, but not my nose. that trick sometimes put me to sleep very fast, and very easy.

it's always difficult for me to sleep and oftentimes i have to do things to weaken my body so i can sleep. i think though that my difficulty stems from the fact that i often think of a lot of worries when i'm in bed
