verification

I'm just wondering about places that ask for a copy of your passport or id and a couple of bills for verification for payout. I have never come across this until tonight and I just don't feel comfortable giving out that kind of information. There are so many scammers out there and I don't want to get mixed up in that sort of thing. I do some of the paid email things and get paid with no problem. They also never asked for verification. I understand why some companies may need to, but I just am not comfortable sending out a copy of my id. To me, that's just leaving you wide open for a scam to happen. I don't know, maybe I've just been scammed toooooo much! Would like to hear some others take on this. Again, this verification process is new to me, so it just seems strange. Just call me chicken!

Hi lisae Welcome to mylot. Here you will get all the informations you need. In your discussion, you have not mentioned the name of that site. If you name it,then some of our mylotters will tell you about that site and their experience with that site. Then you can take a decision about that site. I got paid from a couple of sites. They are genuine. They did not ask me any ID proof etc. Happy mylotting

Sorry, I did forget that. duh! I think I've spent too much time on here today! lol TheTwoDivasGPT.com is one of them and the other is mymakeupmoney.com. This is what it says: Before withdrawing, you are required to verify your address. To verify your personal information mail me a copy of your personal id like passport, state id or drivers license, or a photocopy of two monthly bills, like electric, cable, telephone, etc. That just seems like too personal information for them to ask for. They could be sitting back waiting on that kind of information and then turn around and use it for their gain. Been burned way too many times!
