I guess it would be normal that you first reaction whenever you will be in this scenario would be insult but for me if I am on that situation though at first I may feel offended and insulted but at the long run I would be thankful for there are people who are concern of my welfare and they want me to know this things that I should change for myself. I think this would be better that someone would tell you you have bad odor or halitosis or athlete's foot in front of your face. right? you would be more offended. They are just concern of you and not to put you down. hope this helps you.

Hello aiza! I would probably be offended if someone give it to me. Thank God no one give it to me. It means I don't have any of those..lol! But I don't think it's a right thing to do because it's like saying, hey, your underarm has bad odor use it or hey you have bad breath use toothbrush or something..hehhee..

Exactly! :-D Indirect way of telling someone how bad his breath is or how foul-odored his armpits are!

I don't think that it is offensive for my part. I receive a deodorant before but it was an expensive kind of deodorant. I don't feel offended but I don't like the gift that she gave me because I don't use that. I haven't tried receiving a mouth wash or dental floss and I think that I am offended by this. It doesn't matter for my part.

i would be grateful.. at least, if i really do smell.. it's an indirect way of saying it.. rather than being direct about it.. which is somewhat kinda insulting.. also.. at least she cares that i smell, that she wants me to smell better...

thanks. you are very sport. Here, you can have this...uh...DOVE deo roll-on. It's slightly used so don't be bothered if it's stickier and slimier than it really should. *wink*

Yes, you start getting paranoid and you'll start to be offended. LOL

I think my first reaction would to be offended but them I would realize that whoever it was found my odor to be offensive to them. Then I remember that we tend to become familiar with our body odors, they tend to lose their potency when we smell them. So I would then take it as a helpful hint.

Somebody told me that we get used to a smell after 15 seconds. After that, we're numb! LOL

oh yes, who won't be because there is another subtle way of doing it like telling it to you secretly what my problem is . it is the way how things are done and said and not the intention it meant to be.

Let's face it, some people just can't say it frankly. So yeah, I'd be offended too. But that would help me be sensitive enough next time.

At first maybe...but its good anyway.....FREE stuff....and their intentions are good...u never know or realized that u do have either bad body odor or foul breath..until somebody pointed that out to u...CHEER UP...and use those stuff to improve your condition (if any)...good luck!

FREE STUFFS! You love give-aways, don't you? Admit it....just kidding. Yes, sometimes, it's a matter of attitude. If you let something bother or offend you, it will offend you. I admire your being sport about it. *wink

I wouldn't be offended, I would be embarrassed. Since I use deodorant and brush my teeth at least three times a day, I would be freaking out and probably buying a more expensive deodorant or rinsing my mouth out with Listerine more often then I already do. I probably wouldn't be that embarrassed by the foot powder- it could just be a general gift to say "Hey, we share the same locker, let's both do our part to keep it dry and fresh".

That's a good point. Nonetheless, being offended and being embarrassed both are negative feelings. *wink* However, I can see you are very conscious with your hygiene. Good job. Hope you don't get any of those gifts. LOL
