Have u started saving because of recession ??

Well there is recession everywhere. SOme of them have lost their jobs, some have bought houses and are not able to give the mortgages. The day to day expense also has been increasing. So have u started saving. Are u scared about losing a job ??

Well in SIngapore its pretty bad. Everyday there is news only about job cuts. Its very difficult to manage if one loses the job as rents are so high and cost of living for day to day is pretty high. I have to save I knw. So have to cut down on unnecessary things and eating outside
wht about you??

Recession is affecting everybody all over the world. We had savings in mutual funds which has reduced drastically because of recession.

oh i knw these stocks and mutual funds all r hit so badly. v put so much into stocks and just end up negative now. and if they ever go bankrupt well v also go bankrupt. lol. hope nothing happens like tht.

I haven't been able to save up lately but I manage to survive till next payment with the same amount I had 6 months ago. 6 months ago prices weren't so high so it was easier to live with money I get for my wage. These days I can't afford a lot of things and I try and don't get upset. I believe that crisis will pass and economics will get back on the feet like before. It's etiological process.

Hello! The present economic crisis has taken away the smile from everybody's face.It has become very difficult to manage both ends meet with the scanty income by millions.In such situation saving money has become just impossible.I am a retired person and managing myself with the pension the government is paying me.So in such situation my savings have come to almost zero.So is the condition of million others.thanx.

thanks for replying friend. i really understand ur situation. for an emplyed person alone it is so difficult, i can imagine someone who has retired. how tough it wud be. i did ask my father in law and he did say it is tuf nowadays as all prices have also increased. well hope everything settles soon
