Obama and the Economy

Do you think Obama will be able to turn around the economy in 4 years?

I think the economy will turn within two years. It would turn if McCain or Hillary Clinton were our president right now. The economy will not turn because of President Obama's massive spending. It may help some. It will more than likely just put more debt burdon on us in the future than really help. Economies move in cycles. We are in the down cycle. No matter how bad it seems, we will recover in a reasonable time period. The credit crisis came in large part from policies put into place when Bill Clinton was president. Now ignorant people are throwing all of the blame on Bush, and claiming that Obama will save what Bush did. You can't put all of the blame on the current president. Economies move slowly and in cycles. The economy will change, but not solely because of Obama.

Sure it is a classic republican line. Bush got blamed for everything that ever went bad in America. Like it or not, Clinton passed legislation that forced banks to give loans to the subprime market. Clinton tried to give people the "American Dream". Several years later, people realized they couldn't afford those loans. Houses stoped appreciating at rediculous rates. All of a sudden, those subprime loans were worth more than the value of the houses that those people bought (because they couldn't afford it in the first place). Then thousands of homes forclosed, and we entered a credit crisis. Of course it was Clinton's fault. He forced banks to give loans to people that couldn't afford those loans. Sure it lasted for awhile, but you cant borrow forever. Eventually, you have to pay debt back. Maybe somewhat should show the democrats that before we continue to pass bills worth near a trillian.

there are lots of problems that president obama are facing today and we are hoping to have a great and industrious result in this new administration. Its not about the obama work it is a lot of people are now involve to get the successful world. The president has a big role but there are some people in the palace need to do the right way of implementing the state problem today.
