is tagging the same as putting in your keywords?

that I am not sure if the same. and I hardly ever tag as they only take 4 or 5 words and no use in it that I see. I think it is one way toget back to that post if ya know how to do that. and they should go with the post so I guess its like a keyword!

I believe so. The MyLot terms and conditions say to add tags to your discussions, so that they can be linked with other discussions with the same tags. This is like keywords, as when you have certain keywords in your blog, this makes the blog post come up as well as several other things with the same keyword when you search for them.

Hello tigerdragon, I always put the keywords and I make sure that I have at least 5 words when I started my own discussion. I read in a discussion before that you have to make sure that you have five tags or else, someone irresponsible here will tag your discussion with whatever word they like. I am not sure about it though... As for blogs, I never checked that. But usually for my responses, I skip the tag part.

I believe it should be the same, so that it makes it easier for some ple whom wanna search for similiar posts.. Most of the time, i will only put tags that are related to what i have responded and not directly related to the post itself.. lol =D I dun see the point in tagging the right words as there are so many members whom are not tagging correctly.. hehe ^_^ BUt in order to make it more convenient for others, i'm starting to tag correctly now, by using the same words as their title.. hehe ^_^

when i was begginer i put tags the topic of my discussions but now i dont do it anymore i jus skip.

i think its to keep track of your interests so they can send you things in digest,etc. that pertain to your interests.

For me it is the same, tagging is keywords. Keywords to connect your discussion to different topics here in muylot like about love, life, job,feelings , that kind of thing. So as always put tags on every discussion and response I do here in mylot.

i don't know what to put either but i put tags so that it will be on better track.
