These days you could think that's enough if you know one language - English. But it's always good to know more languages, it widens your look at the world and helps communicate with people from other nationalities. To know a language is your trump! I can speak in English, Russian, Latvian (my native language), basic German. I don't think it is enough that's why I plan to study Italian or French, still deciding which one at first.

I can speak, write and read fluently in both English and French. I am also currently trying to learn Italian and Sign Language, but I'm only a beginner. I don't think I'd be able to have a conversation in Sign Language or Italian.

English is my mother tongue language. I learned French when I was at school and I am currently learning Spanish. I think German is very useful for traveling so I know the very basics. I think it would be pleasant for me to learn Italian in the future. Romanian sounds like a lovely language. I imagine that Spanish will be really useful for my traveling. Last year I went to Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia. I had a lovely trip and liked the sound of Latvian. Russian must be a very challenging language to learn. I like to learn languages with a similar alphabet that I use with English. I would be scared to learn a very challenging language with a totally different alphabet.
