Television viewing

How much television do you think is too much? My son watches a lot of television and I try to make it educational here and there. But I think that sometimes it should be limited so they can do something else constructive.

yes if you have the time and energy to do other things with him then do it.

When I was researching and interviewing for my book, I learned that children shouldn't be exposed to more than two hours of media per day. Media includes television, computer use, video games, and cell phone use (texting, primarily). So, I try to keep tabs on that with my children. We do a lot of reading, art making, and board game playing when they're not playing with their toys. :-)
