An Open Letter to Mr. Obama and the Democrats

Dear Mr. President and Company: It is so good that you are focusing so hard on the economy. But let's not become isolationists here. There is balance to everything. You know, September 11 did take place. That horrific day in late summer 2001 will remain forever in our collective minds. We need to see that Mr. Osama and his cohorts are sought, found, and brought to justice. We need to send a strong message to all would be terrorists that just because our nation is under new management does not weaken our resolve to protect ourselves, protect our friends, and our interests in other countries. I am glad you are committed to responsibly bringing our boys and girls home from Iraq--hopefully safely--by 2010. I am glad you do realise that Iraq is NOT the epicenter of this devastating national security tsunami known as Al Qaida. Mr. Hussein is dead, and troops, munitions, and money are being spent in a place where it is not needed the most. There is a War on Terror to be fought. I believe its real epicenter is Pakistan and Afghanistan, as well as anywhere else Al Qaida may have trained for Sept. 11. I hope you read this.
