Its always good to have a minimum of 6 hours of rest ,even if you feel like not taking ,do take a nap .Because there are a lot of body activities which rejuvenates when you have a good sleep, else you tend to get a little weary the next morning. if you are not able to sleep, listening to good ,soft music will help.
Cheers!

I have this same dilemma atleast once a week. I have to be up at 4am to get ready for work and once I see that it is past 11pm I starting thinking about sleep in terms of, "If I fall asleep right now I can still get (this) many hours of sleep.
Lately, I have another problem of waking up 1-2 hours before I have to and wondering if I should just get up or try to go back to sleep. I usually don't get up and then regret that decision when my alarm goes off.
My suggestion, go to sleep
. If you don't you might be ok the first couple of hours, but as the day drags on (and I do mean drags on) you'll feel lousy. Atleast that's how it usually works for me.

I only got to be at work for a few hours tomorrow and its gonna be very easy. im gonna try sleeping, but if im not asleep within 1/2 hour im staying up & overdosing on coffee tomorrow lol

Well, sometimes it just happens, maybe you're quite stressed before going to bed or on daytime that is why you can't sleep. I hope you well.
