As a student, do you tend to ask for help or just stick to yourself when meeting difficulties? Does the choice reflect any tendency of personality? Your opinion, pls.

I would ask for help, only in the most extreme of circumstances. I would request the assistance only after I have read and studied and done all I am supposed to do. You know, college time is time to develop the resourcefulness, the independent problem solving skills a prospective employer will expect you to have. You are not going to get alot of help in this life. So now is the time to do it yourself. I believe no one has the time to baby me or mother me. Most certainly not an employer. If he finds me to be a little too high maintenance for his tastes--he will be in search for someone who isn't! I was raised that way by my daddy--may he rest in peace.

Hi, zhuhuifen. When i face difficulties on my studies, normally i will try my best to solve the problems. I don't ask for help first because i don't really believe in others (from my experiences). If i really cannot find the solutions, then i will just ask for help from good students or lecturers. Anyway, i will just try my best first. Just to see how far i can reach. Have a nice day and happy mylotting.

i don't normally ask for help. i try my best to overcome my weaknesses alone but if i can't really do it, that's the time i ask for help. i think it does reflect my personality and people choose to ask help or choose not to because of personality.

as for me, I tend to ask no one for help at first, just try my best to do all the things. but if I can not deal with the trouble by myself, I will look for some help from others who can help me. my own opinion is that, there is nothing to do with tendency of personality, it just up to the situation. hoping this view do help. A NICE DAY!!

Once upon a time, I never raised my hand in class, sought help or anything. Then I met a teacher he asked me why I didn't get involved as much as he thought I should. Long story short, I always fought my way thru things without help. Not that I didn't want it, just realized the people I was seeking help from weren't in a position to help me so I was forced to help myself. Seek help, always seek help.
