love is very imporant in my life, love for my wife, kids, and grandkids and maybe a few others keeps me wanting to live, and not giving up on life due being in pain pretty much 24/7.

Love is very important in my life, but at my age it is the love of family and friends that matters the most. Romance is a thing of the past and something I'm glad to be done with. Family and friends are my precious treasures, they light up my life and I can do without anything but not them.

After the three most essentials - food, clothes and shelter love comes next in importance. "Love" has a large denotation. It encompasses all sort of feelings that are positive for another fellow being. Affection, embrace, sweet smile, good gesture, help and so many such things directly or indirectly express our love for him or her. Robinson Crusoe in the novel of the same title feels too much for human company. That he desperately wanted to see another human fellow in the island was implicit expression of his longing for love either to give or to receive. Some people turn too cruel as they grow up and for this the environment he is living in and the family he belongs to also are to blame for his cruel nature but good thing is that he too is not totally devoid of love. The force of love forms one's personality too. If we are to make this Earth an abode we must cultivate the seed of love and spread among all.
