My Stay in Boracay

During my second vacation in The Philippines we spent about a week in Boracay. Not long enough! The people there are wonderful and friendly. The hotels/resorts we stayed in were first rate. The beaches are beautiful. The whole island is surrounded by a coral reef making for excelent scuba and snorkling. You can rent a speed boat or wave runners. There is night life and shopping and para-sailing. There are golf resorts. Every restaurant we went to was excelent. In short it's a beautiful tropical paradise and a great place to bring your family or just a loved one for a romatic get-away. It's a little bit more expensive than other places we visited in the philippines but not as expensive as Manila. The resort were we stayed was all cabanas. We got a 2 bedroom for a reasonable price. It was very nice, like having our own house with all the tropical paradise perks all around. Palm trees and other beautiful plants, sunshine and rain storms, boats with outriggers right there on the beach just outside and a couple of nice little bars and restaurants right on the beach where we could have breakfast in the morning, or sit and drink Mai Tai's and watch the beach and the people go by. There was a night club called Kokomo Joe's. It had great atmosphere with dance music and light's and fun. There was a nice out door shopping mall where you could find anything you needed. (The ladies spent a lot of time there) We stayed on the strip for the whole week but there are other resorts around the island that afford an even nicer stay for those who want four or five star treatment. A wonderful tropical paradise!thumbs up for Boracay!:?)
