The doctors have diagnosed that you have one week to live ,what would you do ?.Would you lie around moping, feeling lethargic, feeling sorry for your self and ocassionally cursing your luck.Or would you go out in a blaze of glory perhaps doing all those things you have wanted to do but nver got a chance because you were busy working.Maybe you would try bunji jumping or sky diving or drag racing .Or maybe you would try to going to church and trying to save yourself ? This is weird ,I know but indulge me if you can and tell me what you would do?

First off, I'd curse out my doctor for not diagnosing me sooner. With technology as advanced as it is today, they should have that kind of information months in advance. That way I can prepare myself for my impending demise. If I were ever in that position, I would spend my last days living the high life (and I don't mean that the Cheech & Chong sense). I would do everything in my power to accomplish as many goals/desires as possible. I would visit as many places as time would allow. I'd make sure I was surrounded by my family and friends. Right at this moment, if I were to get that news, I'd plan a road trip to visit as many states I was physically able to. One of my goals is to visit every state before I die. I'd also like to visit Italy, Australia, and the Bahamas. Another goal I have it to swim with dolphins, so I'd find some place along the way that would allow me to do that. I've never gambled (aside from lottery scratch-offs), so I'd make sure to visit a casino. I'd finishing reading the Twilight series (since I've been prolonging it for a few weeks now). Other than that, I'd let the cards fall where they may. This question seems a little ironic though. If someone were given the news that they only had a week to live, they probably wouldn't have much strength left to accomplish anything.

Hi ronnyb, It would depend on if I was in pain or not so I guess I have to assume that I am not. I'm 69 years old so what I would do now might be quite different from what I would do at 20. I know that I would want to spent most of my time with my family. I have two very young granddaughters that I would like to spend some time with as well as spending some time with my three sons. I would want to spend time with my wife and help her adjust to my not being around.I would also want to have some time alone to come to terms with leaving this world and make peace with myself. Blessings.

If I had one week to live I would probably go all out. I would probably some stuff that I wouldn't care if I got in trouble for, why care, I'm dying. Maybe like rob a bank so my family would be welloff when I'm gone, lol. I would definately go bungee jumping, sounds like alot of fun, just very dangerous. Also, sky diving. You have some good thoughts! I would do anything and everything that I could in my last days!

The same exact thing I would have done if I didn't have the diagnosis. There is no one I want ti kill, there isn't a big caper I want to pull off. I don't have the money to see Chicago but I did and saw everything else I wanted.I got to see my Red Wings win 4,count them 4!, Stanley Cups. my Steelers at least 3, My Redskins twice. My New York Football Giants thrice, the Red Sox twice. I got to New Orleans, pre Katrina, and most of all I got to play some great music. I could die happy tomorrow. ps. I got to see Great one play. It was brief and at the end of his career but I saw him.

Whatever I wanted to do and felt like doing at the time. Including spending all the time I could with my family and trying to say everything important that I should have been saying for years, and never got around to. Isn't it always that way. "I'd rather be ashes than dust. I'd rather have my flame burn out in a blaze of glory than be stiffled by dry rot..." am sure I am misquoting. But that is how I feel.

It is hard to say for sure since I've never been in that position but I know the first thing I would do is make sure that my heart was right with God. After that, I don't know for sure what I would do since the most important thing( my eternal security ) would have been settled.

I would make me a bucket list and try to accomplish what I could. However I have no interest in doing any dare devil stunts. My bucket list would have things that I could do to leave an impact on the people I know and inspire my family to be better people.

I definitely would not lie around feeling sorry for myself. I'd try to spend as much time as I could being with the people I love, and doing the things that I love.

I can tell you what I would do if I didn't have kids- I would find the money to get to Scotland and spend my final week there. But since I have kids I would spend my final week with my family trying to teach them everything that I can and makng sure that they know I love them more than life itself.

Hi friend, If I just have one week to live, then I would choose go to travel as many places I can, to see the world that I have not seen yet.

I spend it with my partner, who I would make stay with me the whole time. We might just drive or walk and explore. I don't think I would do anything too extreme, just take it easy admiring the most important thing in my life.

I'd thank the doctor for the week since not even God guarantees the next second of life. Afterward, I'd do whatever I felt like.

I would try to do some of the things that I have always wanted to do. It would not be extreme sports or anything like that. More like travelling - go on a cruise, go to Disney World etc. I love foo so I would not hold back and really enjoy all my favourite foods. I would spend quality time with my loved ones. Possibly make peace with those who have angered me. Write some letters and say some goodbyes. Make a video for my daughter.
