The Tour of the Caribbean by the England Cricketing Team as started. The first test begins on Thursday February 4 and ended Saturday 7th. West Indies win on the third day by One Innings and some runs. Now first I must say congratulation to Chris Gayle and his team. You have started on the road of progressiveness since being in New Zealand and I am very proud of you guys. Now to the England Team. They come to the Caribbean being boastful and full of themselves. Because for the couple of series they have been trashing us they think that they can come and maul us over. So instead of just keep their clap shut they bragged and boasted how they will give us white wash. So they come in the game complacent. Monty Panesar was suppose to be their star man instead Gayle, Sarwan and Nathan showed him who is the star. I hope that they learn from this lesson never underestimated your opponent. As much as I don't like the Australian Team since the retirement of Steve Waugh, Ricky Ponting has always speak about the talent of the West Indies Team. His remarks was that once this team mature they will once again be world beaters because their are talent on the side. He saw it a couple years back. We now as the No. 1 batsman in One Day and Test. Our ranking has move from 8 to 7. I wonder what it would be after this year. I wish you guys all the best and remember it does not ends here. There are three more test and five one days. I know that you can take it home and make the wagonist proud. As for me I am always proud of you guys. Congratulation to the West Indies Team

Just like in any sport, seems like the team that talks the most trash is the team that gets beaten

Wow what a match it was i can boast that i was there to see one of the greatest fast bowling spell ever Jerome Taylor was the man he really bowled well. He bowled Peterson with a beauty in my books unplayable, what about Paul Collingwood he ran two runs before he knew he had been bowled first time i saw such drama in cricket. I wish them the best for the rest of the series.

Wow thanks for the info.I must admit that I wasnt following the series as thoroughly as I should.I heard that they were doing well but got a little skeptical and didnt want to celebrate too quickly as they sometimes have a knack for starting out well ,then crashing and burning. It good though to see that we seem to be on stage of rebuilding and its full time we have been down so long.I suppose too that the moral of the story is to never underestimate your opponent

it was a shocker to see in the news that the match was over. Then i realized that English had been bowled out for lowly 50 odd total. I feel good for westIndian cricket, They are a far cry from their glorious days but still a very talented team, unfortunately the results did not justify their talent. there was a odd victory here and there but the consistency was lacking for other teams to take them seriously. I hope this win will propel them to great heights. My love for westindian cricket is because of their gentlemanly nature. Garner, walsh, mashall, ambrose never sledged & don't think that gyale encourages that too. This was the major difference between the winning arrogant australian team & the all conquoring & loved westindian team of the past.
