Oh, honeydew! So sorry about your fire. I've never had that to happen, but we had a bad burglary and that was traumatic, so I know yours was much worse. Hate that you lost your cat. So glad you have found you a new place and the people are good in helping you. Were you home when it happened?

Burglary is no fun! I can imagine someone in your home going though your stuff that you do not know! We were home when the fire start. The little one and I were sleeping and my son smelled burnt plastic and the bathroom was on fire. The Bathroom was three feet from the bed. Yikes! They think it was the exhaste fan in the bathroom. All is well now and I am blessed to have my family.

Oh wow! I was wondering what had happened to you. I can't imagine what that whole ordeal must have been like for you guys, I'm so sorry! Thank God everyone is okay, except the poor cat. That alone would make me feel absolutely horrible! So, are you all settled back into a place now? Thank God, we have never had any disaster strike us like that. The worst we've dealt with are things like being unemployed for a few months, and losing our vehicles, and getting into car accidents. Nothing life shattering like losing a home (although we've faced eviction once or twice).

All settled in the new place. It is out in the country so I am looking forward to a garden. We moved last weekend. I love the inlaws we stayed with but it is nice to be home. Of course my crappy inlaws were still crappy! But I do feel blessed. My kids are okay and it all turned out well.

I guess I have been pretty lucky as far as disasters is concerned, I was thinking of downsizing house wise and moving to the country but now that i see the areas i was thinking about a blaze at the moment here in Victoria Australia I have changed my mind, I don't think I could handle it at all... I am very sorry about your cat, that is so sad...

I am glad you are OK. This experience must be one of the hardest ones a person can encounter. This kind of events can bring the true identity of a community and I am glad yours pulled together to help you and your family.
