Computer Problems

I bought my laptop in the middle of November... I'm having a bit of problem with it now... The mouse pad is freezing up... I get a lot of different versions of what the problem might be... Some say it's a driver issue & some say it's hardware issue... I have toshiba satellite M305D-S4840... When the everything else seem to work fine except the mouse pad... Also, whenever I click on buttons, 2 buttons right below mouse pad, it freezes... I try to restart the computer & it comes to toshiba start up screen & stays there... I can't seem to fix the problem... I even tried downloading driver for it but still same problem... Any ideas?

Well i think it is better to let a technician to see it , i believe the economy is bet some repair shop provide free diagnostic yea .
