What scent brings back the greatest memories?

We have several pot plants with geraniums hanging along our porch; when I walk out in the morning I can smell them and I am immediately taken back to my paternal grandfather's house where he grew beautiful geraniums. It was always such a special treat to visit him; he would spoil me with liquer chocolates or roasted chestnuts, yum! Very special memories emanate from my pot plants. Do you have memories good or bad that are triggered by certain smells?
