I just ate the most amazing food I've ever had! (probably in my life!) what was it? a piece of toast with butter on it! sounds kinda boring, doesn't it? If you hadn't ate in some time (and not got sick).. the simplest thing can taste AMAZING! I'm gallbladderless! *lifts shirt* So, what is the most amazing food you have had lately? what made it so amazing?

LOL, do I hear ya there! I'm not a peanut butter fan, but the other night after being too involved on the lot to take time to eat, I tumbled into bed with a very empty tummy! The next morning while I was fixing my coffee my stomach let out such a loud rumble I actually looked behind me for the source of the sound! So I figured I'd better feed the beast..........and the only thing I could think of that would be enough to take the edge off and not take too much time to make was toast and peanut butter. Rye toast with a thin layer of peanut butter! Oh my oh my, what have I been missing all these years!!!! ROFL

I think someone released something into the air that causes people to eat peanut butter! I don't even like peanut butter, but lately, I have been having multi-grain toast with peanut butter for breakfast, and/or lunch. It's good!

Stormy!!!! Glad you are back! mmmmmmmm, toast! I love toast made from 12 grain bread and peanut butter! And, I don't even like peanut butter. The most amazing thing I have had lately is a bowl of chicken noodle soup. What made it amazing? I made it myself, and spiced it up a bit with some cummin, basil, paprika, and crushed red peppers. Yummmers! AND, it is good for the immune system that way. Two for one, I get to fill my tummy, and stay well!

Yes toast is so good with some butter if you have not eaten it in awhile, especially! I like my toast only lightly toasted, not very dark. I love many types of foods, but simple foods like that are so tasty when you have not had them in some time! Mmmmmmm!

Oooh, I've had butter and toast a few days ago. Butter is good with everything! too bad it's so sinful! But you're right. If you haven't had some kind of food for a long time, it'll taste really good. :) But no matter how yummy it is, if you eat it all the time or if it's easily accessible then it won't be as yummy anymore. Haha.

HOORAY! That is soooo much better Sorry, but I don't eat Mayo either. Both of those things are terribly fattening and I might lose my tiny stick figure frame

Yesterday only, I went to the Italian restaurant and I found that the food was really amazing. I wish to prepare such kind of food at home also. It was really served well and had an absolutely amazing food. It was different from the regular pasta’s and pizza’s we eat.

Welcome home Stormy!!! I know several people that have had gallbladder surgery in the last year. They all kept putting it off, worried about it. Then as soon as they had the surgery, they were kicking themselves for not having it done sooner. Don't overdo it! Give yourself the time to heal. But based on what I have heard, you are going to feel SOOOO much better.

Hi Little_Stormy I'm happy you were able to obtain so much enjoyment from a piece of toast. It is very good, especially dunked in a cup of coffee in the morning. I can't quite say I can call any food I've eaten amazing. We cook all our meals, and we bake our own bread, so everything we eat is amazing.

The most delicious thing I ever ate was a special pineapple upside down crumb cake I had at a block party over 30 years ago! Through the magic of facebook, I was able to find my old neighbors and just last night I got the recipe so I can make it myself! The most recent delicious thing I had was just a few minutes ago, a pork roast that I slow cooked in the oven all day long.
