What is a normal relationship?

Do we mimic what we see in the movies or television when it comes to defining a normal relationship? Do we really know what we want? Do we set our expectation to high and too soon? Is this why relationship fail? Do you think communication is the key? Do you believe in telling your significant other your hearts desire in hopes of having a Normal Relationship.
