Pens, post-its, and paperclips... no one will notice, right? Are you guilty?? Enter the confessional..." ------------------------------------------------------------ but I kept my Swingline stapler because it didn't bind up as much, and I kept the staples for the Swingline stapler and it's not okay because if they take my stapler then I'll set the building on fire..."

No, I never steal. Why would I steal office stuff? It's an act of disrespect toward the company, and such things have very little value. It's not worth it.

You're right, it is disrespectful. But just about everyone has done it at one time or another, so I want to discuss it :-)

Yes I must admit when I did work outside the home I was a "BORROWER" (with the intent of no return) when it came to office supplies. I always had a bunch of supplies I was lugging home when our shipment would come in every friday.

With me, it's the opposite. I have people lifting things frm my office. I don't mind, most of the time it's pens and paper clips and they are dirt cheap. I am pretty cool with them asking for stuff, we buy in bulk so we get great price breaks on things so if they want folders, markers, Post-It Notes or stuff like that, it's cool with me as long as they aren't taking hundreds of them at a time.

I haven't but I know a few ladies who help themselves to whatever they can find. I have enough junk of my own at home. :)
