For decades, Binibining Pilipinas is responsible for searching and sending Pinays to international beauty pageants. Thank heavens, some of our representatives brought home the crown and other awards. Last years pageant however made many to think that the Binibining Pilipinas handlers (Binibining Pilipinas Charities, Inc.) has already served its term. In 2007, the organizers broke their own rules by allowing Margaret Wilson to participate though she was still 17 years old then. Last year, only they understood how Janina San Miguel bagged one of the coveted title. Ooops... the speculations as to why Ms. San Miguel backed out is all bad for the organizers.
Fellow myLoters, what are your thoughts about Binibining Pilipinas Charities and how they handle the most prestigious beauty search in the country? What do you think should be done to improve the pageant?

I don't know but for the past 4 years, it seems that Binibining Pilipinas organizers failed to produce high caliber beauties. Until now, Philippines has no Miss World, each year everybody is anticipating for a better candidate to Miss World, hopefully the organizers just don't accept ladies with beauty but with brains also.
I am also following the Binibining Pilipinas pageant every year and most of the time I am disappointed with the results, I don't think they get the deserving winners. The last time that the Bb. Pilipinas got the best batch of beauties was in 1993 and 1994 after that, the succeeding pageants are all "pa-cute na lng", goodness.
