Remembering Dale

It does not seem like it was 8 years ago when I saw that accident. I did not expect him to be hurt in that, it looked like any other accident that we have seen. I never really liked Dale Sr. but there was always excitement on the rack where ever he was. Boy! did I ever cry when that happened though and felt that the rest of the season was just not the same. I never routed for him but I always watched him, it was like you had to always keep an eye on him for the unexpected and the excitement. I have been watching Nascar all week long and they have not mentioned anything about a memorial for him. I am sure they will mention him and maybe even fly his flag for him. It must all be very scary for the drivers to be reminded of his accident and then go out on the tack themselves.
