Hello friend, when I was in school I use to read the subjects daily. It helped me to get state rank in the exams as well. The reason is that I read all the subjects daily. It is easy to read because in a day you will be taught on or two pages in a subject. Also you would have listened to it some what.Hence if you read the same in the evening it is easy to read as well as it will not forget from your memory too. I tried to apply in the college too.But I can't since we use to chat a lot in the hostel and the time passes as we play a lot of joyful games in the evening.I study only at the last day.Obviously you can't know anything and hence I find it very hard there. Its happening only because I am playful and a bit lazy. But I recommend you that the concentration is the key to read.If you lose it then you can't climb in the ladder of success. Thanks for posting Happy myloting

..When I was a student, I use to study just before the subject.. What I mean is, cramming during exams and quizzes is good for me.. When I study ahead, I tend to forget things before my exams or quizzes.. But I have learned some study habits which are very effective.. One is, when you study, you chose a place where you could concentrate. Try to discover what method is best for you like, do you prefer to have a music background while studying? or would you prefer a silent atmosphere? then after determining what's best for you, see to it that your study area and study hour schedule is only one. Be consistent because eventually, your mind will be set to that schedule. The most important thing that I do before I begin to study is pray then meditate to remove all the things bothering me so that I could concentrate to what I'm studying or reading.. In studying, you need not to memorize anything, you just need to understand and familiarize it.. Well, I hope this would help you because we all have different kinds of study habits..

i would set aside a certain amount of time and force myself no matter what to stick to it in spite of anything others want or i want me to do.

What I usually do is study the material in a quiet place (preferably a library), re-write my notes, and even make flash cards to study and practice with. They seem to be working OK for the time being, although it takes a lot of motivation & discipline to keep at 'em.

Study...it's the word which i heared hundreds of time daily while i was in higschool. My parents,Teachers,Neighbours...all with whom i spend my time at childhood used to say me "Study Well..Stop Playing".I am not studious at all in that days.Afterwords when i am going to face my 12th exam.I have got very helpful method of studing.I am going to tell you about that... I used to wake up very early in the moring at about 4 a.m.I take my bath and sit on study table at about 4:30.I kept reading upto 6a.m..These 1 & half hour regular reading help me to secure first class in exam. It's the timing when everyone is sleeping & you get too much silence at that time.I will suggest to take bath before you are going to study because it will make your Body & Mind fresh for studing. If possible do some Meditation Or Yoga(Exercise). It will help you to concentrate.Alays sit staright while studing.Don't read while you are sleeping on bed or eating or wathing TV. Start from the hardest subject which you think afterwords harder and finally come to simple subject. As your Mind is fresh while you start studing, prefer the hardest one, afterwords you will get tired of studing then you will take the simplest one, which will be taking less time for understanding. In this way you will finish your all study. Please, prepare schedule of your Studing,it will help you to manage your valuable time. Also follow that schedule strictly. This is all I had done while I wa s studing.I used the same technique while going to face my university exams also.Hope that it will help someone for studing. Thanks....

I study by just reading the material over and over and then quizzing myself on it. Personally I like that the best and it seems to work the best for me. And do your homework!! Not just to get good grades but to definitely learn the material so you know what you are doing! And if you can't focus go walk outside or do something else for about 5-10 minutes, I find that the most helpful to get back on track! Also, some topics are really hard to study, meaning like chemistry, not like the laws and theorys, or other parts, but the general concept is kinda hard to grasp sometimes. But I would have to say just go home, read the material, if you have to make flashcards, or re-write the material it helps to get it in your head! So best of luck Pistas!!!!

Try to study the interesting and easy topics and write them well in the exam.If you find a whole subject tough.Try to take coaching for that subject. If you have small minor doubts.Clear it with the college professors.Try to do writing practice for tough questions. It will really help you in your exams.
