I love flowers but they fade away so fast and a card is forever....So a card is what i choose.

I like greeting cards if the person it's from puts in their own personal touches. example: drawing, poem, or a personal sentiment. If not I prefer flowers.

It depends. If you write a personal meaningful message in the greeting card I choose that. But I'd rather have a flower than a generic card with just a signature.

I agree, Withoutwings. I love flowers-I love to put them all around the house-but the cards I've gotten that have said some very womderful/heartfelt things in them are far better than those flowers.

I can't stand greeting cards! I think they're so impersonal. I wish everybody would make homemade cards instead. so I would definitely choose flowers. they just light up a room, I think.

Bamboo - Bamboo
I would prefer a greeting card. Flowers are absolutely beautiful, but only last a few days. I have a birthday card on my desk from my husband from 2 years ago...can't do that with flowers. Not that this was an option, but I would also take a plant/bamboo. I haven't killed any yet. Then I can keep that in a special place with my greeting card and remember the love that was put into my special gift!

lovely flowers - Flowers with lovely color that really attractive and fascinating.
I am a big fan of flowers. Definitely I rather prefer flower to greeting card. I know card can keep longer but I still like flowers as their color and fragrance could really make me pleasant and refresh when I receive them. Even though freshy and beautiful flowers could slowly fade away, the beauty of the images of the lovely flowers still remain in my mind forever.

i think flowers have more meaning in significance in any occation though they can't be kept for a long time as that of cards. flowers have deeper emotional feeling than the cards, the cards have but with less of that of the flowers. i'd prefer flowers to greeting cards though.....

The card is a nice gesture, but I end up throwing it away. I like the flower the most because I can get joy from it for a little longer than a card. Both together is the best.
