That's nice to have things re-organized in new year. For me the most important thing is the willing to let go the unnecessary stuffs which loaded your cupboard, so your room would be so much neater. Things have to be out first so that you would be able to get new things on the room. If you want to reflect the new you, start to use the brighter color for your room, maybe changing the color of your lamp or repaint it with the color which you like. Re arrange the position of your furnitures would be the easiest way to make the room look new without actually re-furnish it.
