I was never donating my blood until now. I`ll go this week and i`ll donate some blood, because there are a lot of people that are waiting for some blood, and they must hope that someone will donate .. Why do you think people don`t go to donate blood? I think that they are not too infromed. That`s the reason why i didn`t until now. I thought that they will take 1L from my blood, but it`s not like that. Even so, i wouldn`t have anything, because i have at least 6L in all my body, and with some healthy food, it will be back a.s.a.p

well, let`s see. First of all, you will just win if you`ll donate some of your blood. You`ll have less fat in your blood. Thouse fat are increasing the posibility of an affection of your heart, or circulation of your blood. So, if you wanna get rid of thouse fats, or not to have, you have to donate. they will take just 0,5 L from your blood. You have something like at least 5-7 L in all your body. The nurse will have a new needle and a new serynge on every patient. So, you will not have any infection. It doesn`t exist such a best period. Be careful. I know that you must go in the morning and you can`t eat or dink water before going. To donate, you must go to your hospital. There you must ask for directions. It will be in that hospital, but i don`t know how it`s in your country. I`ll go tomorrow to donate. I`ll came tomorrow with more informations.

The reason people hesitate donating blood is because we have no clue if the process is conducted safely. an individual donates blood but when needed one has to pay for it which makes no sense, i mean if the donor does not charge why does the recipient has to pay a huge sum & it seems its not easily available when so many donate.Due to negligence a person can loose his/her life. Blood donation undoubtedly the best practice but its better to be safe than sorry..

well, in my country the receiver isn`t charged at all. and the donator gets something like 10euros + a ticket that value 3 euros and a free day from school/job, and a free day of public transport. It`s not something, but it means that they care, and they need a lot of blood. Even with thouse methods, people isn`t in a hurry to donate. I think that`s the reason, because they don`t trust them.

i tried donating blood when i was in high school, but was not allowed to because i wasn't 18 years old yet. i tried again years later, but was not allowed to because i didn't get enough sleep the night before. and then was rejected again some years ago because i was under medication.

yeah, but the nurse it will let you see that she it`s using a new one on every man and woman. that`s the law. So, it will not infect you with anything. Sure, that there were some cases when the produces had something ...but you should. I know that people that has fat blood :) should donate at least twice /year. They will feel better and they will not have problem because of their fat from the blood.
