How many shoes do youwear often ?

My parents begin complaing about my shoes AGAIN! again! They blame me for laying too many pair of shoes in the doorway, which I change with my different pants. around 7-8 pairs I wear often , I need to change, so I have to put them outside not in the closet. Don't have that time and energy going for them every morning. It's been long that I dare not buy shoes or boots for I don't want them to murmur again.

I have three pairs of shoes right now. Dress shoes, casual shoes, and snow boots.
The snow boots are a necessity where I live, and the dress shoes are part of my workplace's dress code. In fact, I don't even bring my dress shoes home, they stay at work and I change into them when I get there, from my casual shoes or my snow boots, depending on season.
I can see having 7-8 pairs of shoes, I guess, if I had money and cared enough about my appearance. But I think I'd be annoyed with that many sitting in the doorway too.

yes. annoying, exactly ! I am packing some of them now. These 7-8 pairs are the ones I wear these days. Three long boots, two short boots, one slope-heeled , one flat which is unbelievable comfortable for walking. I walk a lot to keep fit, so I wear them quite often.
