http://seattlepi.nwsource.com/business/348521_sbux24.html I like that they are reducing some prices but it's not @ every store. I"m glad I'm not much on coffee, but their prices are outragious and McD's is putting them under around here since they offer similar drinks for less money. And I'm sure the gas station are as well as they offer cappicino's for .99 and they taste alot better IMO ;)

Yes, it would be much better if they do. I'm an avid Starbucks drinker but during these tough times, we need to be practical and think if every cup of coffee (or Frappuccino) is worth the money we're paying for. If they want to retain their customers, then this would be a very good move for them. I hope this happens to all Starbucks store. :)

I think most coffe store prices are ridiculous! about $4 for a cup of coffee! but I dont see why they should have to put their prices down. People dont have to go into starbucks, although they still do! they are a luxury item (I dont like the stuff myself) and if people want it then they will have to pay for it and if they dont then they dont have to.

I dunno does anyone know what starbucks' actual markup is? And I don't want some bs inflated number but actually what it is? If it is around 100% then sure they should cut prices but if it is lower around 30% they shouldn't or else they will have to start cutting jobs and that would just make the economy worse.
