hello everybody here at Mylot.
well i went into work this morning and only had enough work to keep me busy for three hours today. well at least i got to work a half of a day and that'll still add up on my weekly paycheck. but it is not like getting paid for a full week's worth of work thou. so now i find myself sitting here at Mylot, earning somemore extra money this afternoon, in my spare time, while i am waiting for my youngest son to get home from school, and he will not be here for a couple of more hours.
so tell me, is your work slow? have you been laid off from your job? and also if you work, what kind of a job do you have?
thanks for sharing and have a beautiful afternoon.

Hi TnWoman,
Oh, I hope there will be more work for you soon so you can ern more money, as for me I don't work as I am on disablity benefits, which don't really helps but at least my hubby is working so that is not too bad, enjoy your afternoon with your little boy when he gets home from school. Love and hugs.

I have my own company now and I try to stay busy either calling clients or fixing some paper work, but we are not all that busy 24-7 and therefore, I would still work on my website for a little bit while things are slow. But I only do mylot at home, unless it's incredibly slow at work, then I would get on mylot to kill time!

Hi TnWoman! My craft business is really not making much money as it used to and I am trying to make a little extra here in mylot and hopefully when I get to have my stuffs for my other business, things will somehow look well. It is really hard nowadys although the last years were not that good either but the crunch this times are really very much felt. I just hope that there will be other opportunities that we can all have to make both ends meet.
Take care and have a great day!

Hi TnWoman...most of us want the day to hurry up so we can get off work...You need the day to slow down so you can stay to get paid. I dont know what kind of work you do, but I suppose if you slowed down they would notice?? Cant squeeze in an extra hour or so? Here where I live, the labour law states that if you go into work to work, you are to be paid for 4 hours, even if you only work for 2.
My hubby was just laid off after working for the same place for almost 30 years..The first and only job he has ever had in his life...It will be tough for him..can you imagine a resume with one job on it??? Its not that common, Im sure. He will have to fill up his resume with stuff that he learned and can do, not where he has worked...

Hiya TnWoman,
I'm lucky I work from home, I have my own greeting card business that I am building up plus I install and design the odd websites now and again for local businesses so that keeps me occupied and I'm a carer for a blind lady so I always go and do her errands, cleaning and cooking for a few hours in the afternoon so by time I've done that it's time for my kids to come in from school and then I do my own chores.
