What is your weakness when dieting?

What is it that keeps you from losing that weight. Whether it be food temptations, not liking exercise, or just the fact you don't want to. Whatever it is write it down and share your story.

For me it's a combination of the two - ice cream is a major temptation for me! I simply don't like exercising because it's almost selfish at this point in my life. I feel I could be doing other things for my family other than jumping up and down in front of the tv with a video. I used to go to the gym at least 3 or 4 times a week and I loved it but that was when I was single. Now that I have a husband and a son I feel differently. I feel guilty that I'm not doing more for them but then I feel horrible that I'm not looking better for myself. What do you think?

It is the same for me. I am single and it still isn't easy. I have tried everything. It is hard to stick to a routine. I try all time with new things and so on.. But I start losing interest quickly. But all we have to do is find somethign we can work with and everyone is different so find something that works for you and run with it!

I'm thinking of ordering something I saw on tv - core rhythms - it's a dance / exercise dvd series. I'm hoping that because it's dancing that I'll be more likely to stick with the program...

It used to always be breads and things like potato chips, but the eating plan I have been following since the first of the year takes away all those cravings.
