Do you feel that your values are different or better than your partner's? If so have you discussed this issue and do you think your relationship can work out with all of the differences?

I think we have some differences mostly that I can't stand the thought of killing anything and he was in the military so he could if he had to. Also I love children but he really isn't fond of kids...ok, he doesn't like them much...but then we were raised differently, I had younger siblings that I raised and he didn't have kids around him. Things about us may be different but it still works for us. We did discuss everything we could think of before we met and faced a lot of things after we met so we both know just about everything about each other.

The cliche:
"Opposites attract"
Yes you can work things out. We human beings are separated from other creatures in this world because of our capability to speak with each other. Talk about it. And of course if you love someone you are willing to change, right? You are willing to step out of that box youre in where you are comfortable and off to the place you aren't comfy at all just to please the on you love.
So.. it won't really matter.. it's kind of good too because as your relationship gets longer and you see that everything's working out.. you'll see how much he/she loves you because she/he changed for you.
Then again..I'm just 17.. just trying to help.
Best wishes to you and your partner :)
