Our you effecting by the current housing market?

I never bought a house and I probably never will. But I am wondering if anyone here was effected by foreclosure or any adverse event due to the current fall of the housing market?

i hope someday u can own youyr home if u want to. no,i wasn't effected by the mess things are in. i paid my house off a few years ago. i feel sorry for people who have lost their homes but u have to learn to live w/in your means & i don't think alot of folks have done that.

thankfully we bought this house right before things got really bad with the market BUT we still own another house that we know we wont be able to sell so we are renting it out we are struggling to pay two mortgages, taxes, insurance,etc...

just the opposite we just well 1 year ago bought a home in florida 3000 sg ft on the water 75 by 175 lot for 325 down from 575. dock, indoor pool, the whole shabang. but for the people we bought from they lost a couple hundred grand.
