I like to watch the new releases and I'm also a really big movie fan. I like to watch movies while I'm working on the internet.
Does anyone use a p2p torrent downloader like vuze? That's what I use and I wondered what everyone else thinks about it. I have a dsl connection and it still takes a day or two to get a movie downloaded due to the file sharing rate.
Overall I still like it because I can download almost any movie I want and I can set it to download while I am asleep or away from the computer.

Have you tried going to torrent websites? All you need to do is get a program like uTorrent, and then go to a website like mininova.org or isohunt.com. These sites are full of torrents. All you do is open the link in uTorrent, and it'll download it to your computer. It can be done overnight if you want. It might take a little time, but it can be done in the background while you're working on other stuff.

Yes I use vuze as my torrent downloader. I mainly use mininova to search for torrents but I have also used pirate bay and a few others I can't remember right now. The program vuze also has it's own internal search engine which looks through four torrent sites.
And yes I do run it in the background sometimes but my processor speed is only about 2 gig. with about 8k ram so sometimes it will slow things down depending on what I'm doing. I use the internet for work so I really need my applications to run fast.
I do have a question about uTorrent. How fast will a 1 gig. movie download using that software and what type internet connection are you using (dsl,T1,etc.)
I really like the torrent files. You can get about any movie you want. I then convert them to dvd format and burn them to dvd so I can play them on my regular home dvd player as well as my computer. That also frees up disk space. It doesn't take long for movies to fill up your hard drive. I also find a lot of software that I use.
