What is the ideal birthday gift for a new guy?

Something that would show ur love to him.. something hand made would be a lot valuable even if it is just a happy birthday card but if my girl make it for me then for me it would be worth far more than anything else or if u know knitting then a sweater would be great or even gloves anything which would show him how much u worked to make his birthday memorable.

Depends what he is into. Some are into tools & similar gadgets & some like electronics in general. So go with what you know they like & get a gift certificate to that particular type of store unless you know he's been saying something about an item he's been wanting & you have the means to buy it for him.
