Me and my wife are very sorry for getting a credit card. We use to be a good payer until the time we can't afford to pay the monthly dues because of unexpected financial crisis. One day, there was this aggressive girl collector agent who gave us a call regarding our delayed payments. She sounded so angry and threatening us that if we don't settle our debts in five days, they will be force to handle it to the judge. I tried to make a settlement but she keeps on asking personal information on our whereabouts. We have no intention of hiding from them but we get annoyed when such agents keeps on reminding us to pay it immediately. Sad that they don't give a dam to your personal reasons and do all the talking. How do I deal with this rude agents?

We are having the same problems. All i do is answer and i try to be polite, and tell them that my husband is not working, and that as soon as he gets back to work we will get caught up with all our bills. I do not answer any personal questions, and if they get rude with me i hang up on them, i do not try to argue with them, because all it does is upset me more. Their are a lot of people in the same situation. You are not the only one having problems with creditors. Keep your head up, and do the best that you can right now, do not let it get you down. Hopefully it will start turning around for all of us.

Thanks dlr297! You're right about being polite but sometimes when I feel being threatened again, I can't help reacting by telling them we are so disturb and our life is getting miserable because of the too much interest and penalties charged to us. Even though we have paid the last due, seems our liabilities are not getting lower due to other charges. Anyway I'll try my best that they won't get me down.
