while people are losing jobs these days worldwide, California judges are trying to cut the prison population by 40% ! What a release ! Those who are going out are the ones be of low risk and threat to the community. Overcrowd has been a serious problem in Calif. prison which causes many men and women wounded.

It is sad that some people in the world are unemployed and yet they wish they could find work. Surely an ex-criminal would have a harder time seeking employment than the average man or lady. If low risk and less threatening criminals are let out of prison then it will send a message to teenagers that live on the wild side that light crimes do not lead to jail. It is a shame some prisons is California are overcrowded. Perhaps the answer is to build more jails. I have seen a program called Banged Up Abroad and some jails overseas are really dangerous, especially one of the men's jails in Venezuela. The jail in Bangladesh also looked really harsh and some criminals were hung like the murderers. Singapore has strict laws and most of the people there behave well. They do not need to build anymore prisons.
