Do your have a house of your own? or Are you renting? We have a house, but it's so far from the city where I'm working, so I had no choice but to rent an apartment. I've been renting for five years and it's so hard to save because of the monthly rental plus the city services and some other bills. I'm just so glad my parents found a nice house for sale, so finally we'll be having own soon. I'll no longer have to pay monthly rental. It would be easier to save money for the future.

Hi flojever! We are only renting here in Manila, the rent is a bit expensive but its alright cause my kids can play whatever they like cause the unit is i can say big enough. I really want to have my own house someday but i want to have it in my hometown where my brothers and relatives are there. Also , we can't afford to have our own home in the city o manila cause it is very expensive.

Hi there, I think it's really expensive to rent a house or apartment there in Manila. If you have an income to cover all the expenses then it's okay. I agree that houses in the city are quite expensive. I hope you get the house you've been dreaming. Happy mylotting

hi there, I think it's not a bad idea to stay with your parents until you have your own house. You don't have to pay the rent and most of all you get to bond with your parents.

since then i want and dreaming of having a house or "home" to call to and now that i have my own family...step by step we're planning to have one...year 2008 came and my friend offered me to apply for a rent to own housing loan unlike renting every month knowing that in the future you'll be leaving that place and the money that you spend will turn into nothing.. so me and hubby grabbed the opportunity though we have our own house bought by my parents but still it's diffrent that we invest for our own :D. it's a townhouse and with God's grace we will transfer before the year ends :D and stii saving for the furnitures and appliances and some needed stuff for the house ;) Godabless!0=)

Hi myra, I hope you get the home you've always wanted. I think a rent to own housing loan is a great idea. You will not be wasting your time and money as you will be renting the house at the same time paying for it to be your own in the future. Good luck to you and your hubby.

at the moment im living with my parents while me and my partner save like crazy to buy our own house for before we marry next year. we considered renting or a while but then if we rented we'd find it harder to save for a house there sooo expensive at the moment lol good job im on sites like these as a bit of extra saving money lol.

hi there, Good luck to your plan of saving money to buy a house. Saving would really be difficult if your renting so it's a good idea to stay with your parents until you have your own home. Happy mylotting.

I do currently have a house, we are technically renting it, but it is our house, my parents bought it for us, and we are paying them.. it is a small fixer upper to get us started and help us along. We are happy with what we have now, but we will need bigger since we had another child last year...LOL good luck to you and your new house!!

I have no house of my own,but I live with my parents. With the society's development, more and more house became expensive in high rates,so buying a house is so diffcult for me.For me,I will do my best to do my work and earn more money to own my house.

Hi there, I leave with my parents too. Buying house these days seems difficult but that will not stop me from buying my own in the future. I'll just keep working and saving so I can buy my own house. Happy Mylotting.

I have a house of mine own. It has a lounge, hall and kitchen downstairs. It has two bedrooms, a bath room and an en-suite shower room. It has a front garden and a back garden with decking, pebbles and grass. I have views of green fields at the back. It is on the edge of a coastal town. I bought my current house in 2005. Before that I lived in my old cottage and I owned that for 14 years before I sold it. It was in a village three miles from a historic city. Good luck with your moving. It will be lovely for you to live closer to your work place.

ya its pleasure to have our own house, built in our style...Yes I have a own house(actually my father's) and he built it before fifteen years and it has four portins and we are living in one,we gave other 3 for rent... but i always used to scold my father, saying this house is not modern, and he always tells me "you build your own,as you wish"...

hi gnmrin, Good for you. I've also a house in a village, but I was relocated so I have to leave it for two years (that's my contract) with the company I work with. I'm also renting a house near my work place. Good luck to you :)
