Ecomonic Recovery Plan - What's yours?

Well the Senate pass the economic recovery plan also known as the stimulus package. I am wondering about your plan what are you doing as an individual to make yourself secure in these rough times ahead?

We were just talking about this last night - we're doing a lot around here. Everything from unplugging what we're not using to hanging towels to dry so we can use them more than once. We're shopping in bulk to save on groceries, using coupons for additional savings, and planning out our errands for the week to save on gas. We're also cutting out spending that isn't necessary, and putting all of that money into a rainy day fund. It seems like a full-time job keeping up with everything some weeks (we're a family of seven, so it can be a lot to keep track of), but it's worth every effort.
